Born in Osaka to Haitian father and a Japanese mother, Naomi Osaka is a professional tennis player who represents Japan. In early 2019, she was ranked by the Women Tennis association (WTA) as the no. 1 tennis player among women. She is also the first Asian player to hold the top ranking in singles.
She rose to prominence in 2018 when she won her first WTA title and later in the same year defeated Grand Slam champion Serena Williams.

Yuta Nakamoto is a rapper, singer and dancer from Osaka but is currently operating in South Korea as part of the popular K pop boy-band NCT 127. He has fondly been nicknamed 'Osaka Prince' by fans.
