Ameagari Kesshitai
Hiroyushi Miyasako & Tōru Hotohara most commonly known under the name of Ameagari.
They are known as a Japanese comedy duo and performed mostly in Osaka. They started performing in 1989 and only stopped in 2019 which is quit recent.
They performed in many Japanese shows on TV such as Sukibara or (スキバラ) ,a hosted show in Tokyo ,for a year ( 2006-2009) . Because they are from Osaka , they created their own show in Kansai the region next to Osaka ; Ameagari Club or (雨上がり食楽部)
Ayako Fujitani
Ayako Fujitani is a famous Japanese actress, writer , director, model and more .She was born Yodagawa-ku in Osaka but she quickly moved to the United state ( California ) where she learned english. She got famous for her role in the series Heisei Gamera ( 1995- 1999). She performed in the film 'Tokyo!' in 2008 and this when her reputation as an actress grew in the cinematic world.
Hirofumi Yoshimura
Hirofumi Yoshimura was the Mayor of Osaka until 2019 and he is now the governor of Osaka Prefecture since April 2019. As a mayor he associated himself with Ichirō Matsui, the governor of Osaka prefecture at the time, so they could promote Osaka to become the second capital of Japan in order to base some governmental organisations that were based in Tokyo.
At the time of his mandate Yoshimura made a promise to his citizens : he promised that if the academic results of Osaka did not went up by the end of his term he would not accept his augmentation, his prime, and Yoshimura did respect his promise at the end of his mandate.
Yoshimura then applied for a new position in march 2019, governor of Osaka Prefecture, and
he got the post. Ichirō Matsui and Hirofumi Yoshimura basically exchanged position within Osaka politics as Matsui became the mayor of Osaka when Yoshimura became the governor of Osaka Prefecture. They did this in order to continue working together on different projects for Osaka.
Miguel Ángel Lotina
Lotina is the current coach of Cerezo Osaka , the football team of Osaka. He was the coach of previous team in Japan such as Tokyo Verdy and he then become the coach of Cerezo Osaka in December 2018. The football team of Osaka was founded in 1957 and was it is called Cerezo for 'cherry' blossom in Spanish.
Naomi Osaka
Naomi Osaka is an American-Japanese professional tennis player, she was born in Osaka in 1997.She got famous as she was the first Asian woman to achieve such a high spot in Women's Tennis Association in 'singles'. Osaka had the chance to compete against one of her idol : Serena Williams in 2018. In 2020, the American filmmaker and director announced that a Netflix documentary series will be released on Naomi Osaka, the documentary series will cover her as a Tennis star and to be the first Asian to claim n°1 in the whole world in tennis rankings in 2018.
